Streamlining high volume hiring
Standardised, automated assessments reduce the time-consuming tasks of reviewing CVs and sifting candidates.
Vero means 'true' or 'authentic' in Italian. In a nutshell it sums up the goal of our assessments, to identify the candidates who are genuinely right for your team.
In an age of AI-polished CVs and increasingly high applicant volumes it tests for the values and attributes needed to succeed in specific roles, measuring potential and cultural fit over easily-embellished experience.
Vero tests candidates across four perspectives:
How closely your motivations, preferences and ways of working align with the role and organisation.
Behavioural style and how you work, communicate and respond in different situations.
Reasoning, problem-solving and ability to process information.
Broader strengths, potential and the qualities you may bring to the role.
Our assessments are shaped by the latest academic research and include situational judgement tests, values-based assessments and cognitive tests.
They highlight a range of 16 traits and strengths, which we call dimensions, that underpin each of the perspectives. The assessments applied to each role depend on which dimensions are most relevant to the job you're recruiting for.
Dimensions are split into four categories:
Your Vero Assess dashboard displays how each candidate has performed relative to each perspective.
Perspective scores reflect whether a candidate's dimensions — their traits, values and abilities — are aligned with what your organisation needs. A fit score averages perspective scores to give you an at-a-glance idea of whether they're right for you. You can also click through to a more detailed analysis of individual performance.
Vero's rigorous approach ensures your hiring is based on objective, verified evidence and addresses many of the challenges TA teams face today.
